So now it is making stock HP according to the book right? I was surprised to see 1.14HP stock and not nearly 2HP ported. I wonder how accurate the dyno is with low power numbers. I know it shouldn't be a problem, but some devices aren't so accurate towards the bottom of their range.

1.14 to 2 is 75% that is a tall order for any saw.

I do know 84 dl of full size chain and rotating the impeller puts a good load on 25cc...

Maybe they test off the crank? Idk.

But before/after same saw same everything what really matters.

Not huge gain, but pretty fair.

I was thinking more along 1.5 stock to 2.0 ported, but 28% is good. The dyno now confirms why they still feel weaker than a stock 35cc after porting. I'd also hope for 2.5hp in keeping with my own goal of .1HP/cc for any engine, but I imagine the 90deg exhaust and built in decomp would prevent that.

Do you think it possible to measure losses in the system to compensate in the numbers?

They have a plug doohicky that fits in and restricts that tunnel... changes the direction a bit. First saw still has it in. May leave it out of the 2nd...
Great idea, now's your chance to do a stock test with and without the insert, the only problem being the empty hole in the top of the plugged transfer.

Im thinking they're in there for velocity purposes but you never know. Testing is the fun of it all

Already ported and back together.

See if this recipe works better than the other.

Very well could be, the whole cylinder is kind of twisted. See if it works out tomorrow .
