You know how she runs. Have fun with it
Absolutely I do. This dyno is pretty awesome. I’m a little jealous I don’t have one. Lol. That said. Just like most guys on here. When your at a gtg. You can hear the saws that are happy. And when you run one you know instantly. First time I ran this hybrid. I knew. Lol. Believe I tried to steal it that day didn’t I. Lol.

Neither saw looks peaky, DEET's saw just has much more of it and takes it into the Stratosphere!

8 Hp from 7,500 to 10,250 is not a bad power band!

The power to weight of DEET's saw is insane!
That’s true, deets makes 8 hp from 8k-14k

high rpm torque make lots of hp! At 10.5k 1 lb of torque makes 2 hp so making torque gains above 10k will yield great hp, 10.5 k is a good cutting rpm as well, so marking torque in that rpm is a good target. It’s pretty eye opening when you see it in graph form. It’s been fun to see in a graph what makes for a nasty saw! It has really changed my thinking, not that, that really matters, but it still cool! If a saw won’t rpm over 10k an maintain torque there it won’t look great on the dyno

Took .022 off the base
Widened the exhaust
Widened intake and lowered to 80

101.5 - 122 - 80
And...if I remember rightly, you didn't just grind the lip off the lowers, you filled and smoothed them with epoxy....to ensure you didn't loose velocity, is that correct?
