They have always complained about the chains well the dyno takes that out of the equation

Stock 462 6.0hp at 10-11000rpm... Stock 572 5.9hp at 9500rpm. 462 torque curve... peaks 1000 rpm higher and not as flat. The numbers will be fairly close, but the rpm range will be different.
