Good to see you around again @Onan18

Bar from @how57, 30”, perfect for my height. Fit with adapters, chain just needs a couple links added to fit and be 98dl same as my other 30” bar. Put opener muffler on. This setup is Lowd. Snap crackle pop. Stump Shot Special.

I have enough tubing to make hundreds of these if anyone wants some. Nice cuz not saw specific.

Hm, nother 288 just started doing this. Clutch nut stuck out past crank end seems same as other saw, bar thickness standard, clutch hub same as others. Swapped to one that was a few thou thinner and put an outer bar plate in the stack…

Think this will clean up?

You mean David Wyby Special, I've never seen that saw before.

I think I see the bar pads present, the clutch however appears to be out too far as in something is holding it back from going in all the way.
Ernie had an issue with this. Turned out to be an early model trying to use newer model parts. There are differences

I had to grind that little bit off the drum that protrudes out past the clutch and it worked out .
I don't remember if it was a aftermarket drum or OEM but that may also play a part in this problem.
Oregon 28094X is the correct one your looking for .
