Oh yeah, old school hope ur doing well Mark ,

I'm going good Wayne, how about you? Just rebuilt this 181 for a very good friend of mine. We go cutting together and it's his only saw.

Only one saw has such a wide squish, small combustion chamber and such high compression without a decomp all from factory (to my knowledge). Guess what it is.

The 181 a great saw , and as you know an arm and shoulder beater Lol , did you get that 090 together ? I’m doing good buddy, sure do like those old Huskies,

Good on you! How's the 266 going? I haven't actually stripped down the 090 yet, I've got all the parts, just need to find time! Hopefully at the end of the year I'll get onto it.

You will need to come up with a good clutch cover out of your stash or in your travels as this one is broken where the rubber bushing holds it from sideways movement. It's fine for now while I have it here and for testing, just when you get it back and before you hang a long bar on it and get it in that petrified wood you have there.

You will need to come up with a good clutch cover out of your stash or in your travels as this one is broken where the rubber bushing holds it from sideways movement. It's fine for now while I have it here and for testing, just when you get it back and before you hang a long bar on it and get it in that petrified wood you have there.

The one I got from Duke’s fit my 288 just fine with the wrap handle.

The play/fun factor on a 372 from the north woods, very dangerous and very satisfying.

Biggest problem, finding 25"+ logs, thanks Steve

I assume you mean Stihl bar for MS660(part number starting at 3003)? You need to lengthen the mounting hole a bit toward the nose of the bar to make it fit. A file would do. I think the chain adjuster hole should be drill larger too.

There are utube vids on modding Stihl bars for Husky. Not hard but a bit involved. I forget who makes the needed spacer.

Are there different flywheels for this chassis? I swapped mine and now have a bad accel lag that won’t tune out.
