Getting the stickers cured my lack of prioritizing in getting this saw finished. Lol! Tank swap and paint underway. Gotta run to my dealer and get some pigtail fuel line and tank vent. Hope they have it.

What orange have you guys used and to what degree of durability are you guys seeing? Rattle can or 2 pack through a gun? Baked or air dried?

This is my first time using a rattle can. I'll be sure to post up any problems with durability I encounter

1st coat applied. Now it's time to wait

NOW it's done. Cases painted and new tank installed. I will say that the pics don't show the grunge on the old tank the way it is in person. Many of you may justly say that it looks no different. All I can say is there's a big difference in person. Until I pull the top end to port it this will be all for my 288.

And I still say you should build that other one with the OEM 281 cylinder.

Are you gonna cut base and squish on it? What do you like to see as far as compression in a 288?

Already have 0.035 out of the band 0.040 off the base. I never checked the comp on the last one I built. You got to be careful it would break the starter rope.
