So they are shooting the black right now. Will see how far they get....then orange blue and white. Ill keep everyone posted on progress. Odds are they will be done with all the colors tomorrow but they are off Friday so ill have to pick up sometime next week.

The captured bolt holes are really cool. The shape with the cooling jigs is a bit better. The decomp hole is gone but there is a detent internally so you can drill your own!

Does anyone here have a large, 4-point outer 181 dog laying around? I wanna make one for my 181 and while I can design my own it would be easier if one of you could just scan and pm me a template. Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the small 281/8 4-point dog, but the bigazz 181 dog that's an inch or so taller. The p/n is 501 81 94-01 if'n that helps.

To illustrate what I meant, here's a pic of a stock 288 outer dog next to the 181 inner dog. Kinda looks like it's from a whole 'nother chassis, doesn't it?
