Same drum will work? First time being inside a 288 here, yes it's a familiar 2xx series but have to figure out what all works.

I was told they are NLA is why I'm asking.

Then they are available from dealers! Good to know I'll get new ones for my 281! Have to make sure I didnt already! I ordered a gasket set and new seals for it...twice!

Could just make one. Pretty simple if you have a couple small connectors and shrink wrap.

I’ve got a little 288 experiment going, using a garbage AM cylinder so nothing lost if it’s a turd. Just waiting on a piston...
