		I considered 394 as one of the 2 series sawSame could be said for all 2 series saws and the 394. Imo

		I guess so. I can see a little of the piston crown at bdc on mine. But ir runs fine. I use it to make big cookiesI know you need to measure but does a 288 typically need a base gasket
