Return that POS. If you bought on eBay, they generally favor the buyer in disputed cases.
I bought it on amazon, ill have to see if the box it came in is still in our bin, but yes I will be trying to return!
I got ONE case gasket left now... lol i went through 3 total.

one for re using the old crank and firing it up confirming it was shot
One for the rebuild with the hyway crank
Then another after assuring bearings were in all the way.

too bad so sad

If it is within the time period, the easiest way to dispute a charge (and win) is though your charge card company.

Couldn't you use a grinder and take .5mm off the lobe, if that's where it's binding up?

I have thought of the idea of decreasing the width. A grinder is a good idea however there is the high possibility of contaminating the big end bearing. Cleaning that sucker is not easy cause you cant pull it apart.

im wondering if i could put it in the vise and press it in just a little further, that would fix everything.

A double gasket … Just kidding!
I thought of this as well then i realized that the head bolts and whatnot would not line up...

I am also considering something else. When i opened the nachi 6203 bearings both were opened and the little box sealed with tape. Is it possible they sent me bearings that were slightly too long? This 3/4mm thing seems too small a clearance to matter...

Im gonna rip it apart tonight and pull the bearings and compare them with the old ones , just to make sure
