Here’s what I think. In the old format, being a Goldmember got you away from the ads. Now with the new format, you download an ad blocker, and being a Goldmember keeps you from getting the “oops, turn off your ad blocker” message

The "oops, I am Your co©k blocker" thing is hardly a way to get new subscribers nor keep the existing ones!

There will always be an app developer to outsmart any others, just a matter of time till there's an ad blocker capable of blocking even the "oops" thing.

Also, I don't visit ANY websites that might require an ad blocker of sorts - as such I don't use nor have any intention of installing one.

Yes until I stopped ad-block on just this web site. Now I no longer get it.

@exCanuck Another thing you might check on when you get a chance. I am showing my automatic payment as sent on Feb 14, but not showing up as a goldmember.

Same thing here... I paid my anti ad /gold membership dues, but still getting the stupid ads.

If you are running no-script on you PC try blocking googlesyndication.com. If I allow it ads show up.

What, no love for microsoft edge? LOL. I use Firefox and I believe Chrome will allow the same plug in extensions as well now.

Confirmed same thing with chrome login.

Had to purchase adblocker. All good now.

Ad Block plus has has been working well in Firefox and Brave browsers. Super easy IMO to set up exceptions to individual web pages or the entire site, and it's free, or donate if ya feel better to support the developer.

And edge can go away. I had to remove the program files and tweak a few registry values to not have it's intrusion keep pestering me. It wouldn't let itself be uninstalled.

uBlock Origin is free and works exceptionally well. Been using it for several years.

I ain't gonna jump through hoops for something that shouldn't be an issue.

All ads can be turned OFF by Admins with a click or two till the issues are worked out.
