Resolved Adblocker message

I am set up on auto pay, so I am not sure if that is a factor in the goldmember status or not. Are members who are showing the banner paying monthly or auto pay as well? I am not seeing the ads like the others, but I am using Firefox and have no script running as well with everything blocked except opeforum.com

yes, in the last couple of days, about the same time that the ads got hyperactive.

I do get that message but I’m running an ad blocker. From the sounds of things I’m glad I do.

Same here. and right now gold member doesn't seem to be making any difference in the ads.

I paid for a block of months as I'm not a fan of autopay's. Not sure how the folks at HLS did it. They took the payment.

Just showed up for the first time the other day. Now it pops up every single time I change pages on the forum. Have to click out of it every time. Better than ads, I guess, but pretty lame.

I wouldn't be surprised if everyone had a different payment date, some of which may be at such a time that they weren't considered active paying members when the forum was updated, but I could be wrong.

I've be a gold member since the beginning of the option.

Weird, i pay nothing, don’t have an ad blocker but don’t get any ads here. Still no answer on the mysterious OPE app that isn’t there for me though. Its a PITA having to log in every time i leave and come back as well. Never had that with Tapatalk

No iOS support, if You are on any Apple device You won't see the app.
At least that is my understanding.

For me the app is nothing special, it mirrors what I see in Chrome - including the ads.

I have a feeling it is email related!
I am registered here with one email, yet my payments are made from another (PayPal).

Here’s what I think. In the old format, being a Goldmember got you away from the ads. Now with the new format, you download an ad blocker, and being a Goldmember keeps you from getting the “oops, turn off your ad blocker” message

Had these issues and more, found it was actually custom browser security settings.
