Resolved Adblocker message

…now whether or not I just didn’t wait long enough for the verification email or it was just coincidence that it came immediately after I disabled ad blocker in settings, I have no clue. Anyhoo, seems to block the crap ads.

I just downloaded the free Adblock app for iOS and it goes through Opera browser but it seems to get rid of the ads for now. When I chose to block ads first in the settings while setting it up, I didn’t get an email with my verification code…went back into settings and disabled ad block in settings temporarily and the verification code was sent to my email. After I logged in I went back and enabled ad block and it seems fine for now.

A thanks shoutout to @exCanuck for his contributions to keeping this site up and running like a ported saw. Returning a site from backups can be a total c..pshoot and IMO, his and, I'm speculating others efforts did an excellent job for us noodlers.

@exCanuck Another thing you might check on when you get a chance. I am showing my automatic payment as sent on Feb 14, but not showing up as a goldmember.

PayPal has you with a different email address than OPEforum?

I turned a ad blocker back on since there seems to be a glitch currently, and no longer see then. I'm on a bandwidth limited data plan and the animated ads do chew up a noticeable amount of my monthly usage.

Shouldnt be a glitch now
