it's just an observation, but the ads got increased just b4 the end of the fundraiser and drawing, and most ad view are paid iirc. Is it possible that there is a fundraiser by ads going on for this site???????

I know there are other Gold Members thinking it, but don't dare asking.

And just to be clear, for now OPE still remains to be my go to site!

My point is, we Gold Members are paying to:
- support OPE
- not be pestered by ads

I ain't gonna jump through hoops for something that shouldn't be an issue.

All ads can be turned OFF by Admins with a click or two till the issues are worked out.

Just saying, cause I like being here.

I'm not interested in an add blocker. I pay a subscription to this site for no adds. Right now I am not getting anything I'm paying for. Tons of adds and no gold status bar. When is this going to get fixed?

I know it is Sunday, my only day off work.
I spent it on a walk with the pup and enjoying nature.



But, Sunday is also the only day I have enough time and patience bothering with closing dozens of ad popups.
The Admins can read through this once they get back from their Sunday!

Fwiw I'm browsing through chrome on my phone and the ads aren't an issue. Non gold member at the moment also.

I use the free version ov AdBlock. I don't see any ads.

I don’t see any ads with Ad-Blocker Pro. But there’s a popup balloon telling me to turn off Ad-Blocker that has to be clicked on every new page

I just downloaded the free Adblock app for iOS and it goes through Opera browser but it seems to get rid of the ads for now. When I chose to block ads first in the settings while setting it up, I didn’t get an email with my verification code…went back into settings and disabled ad block in settings temporarily and the verification code was sent to my email. After I logged in I went back and enabled ad block and it seems fine for now.
