I got a message a few days saying be prepared for a package heading my way. I know the sender
well as i have done several transactions with him. I'm very curious and excited. Well it arrived
today. I opened it and to my surprise i nearly dropped to the floor.

There it is MS780. So first off i need to say this in open forum. The sender has become a great friend
and sells saws here that can't be found in the wonderful US of A. @NightRogue i can't thank you enough.
Guys i have done several transactions including over a half dozen saws. I have sent him stuff from here
and he has sent me stuff from his home land with @NightRogue and all have been excellent. This was
quite a surprise to me.

So if anyone is interested in saws he has to offer, Go get em and remember his prices include postage which
isn't cheap considering in comes from around the word.

Next i'm going to post few pic's of some of the obvious differences between the MS780 and MS880

Its an honour and privilege to know everyone here and most importantly you uncle, glad i got lucky and managed to score it before it went extinct.

If i may add, it has wg11 carburetor as opposed to the usual wg12. So the smaller venturi carb adds more low end tq in exchange of high rpm hp for hardwood. That slim rear handle is made for free hand ripping like the other big saws made for 3rd world, 070/720 and 1201

At the expense of a little safety, which is another thing that makes the third world so awesome.

Even though we haven't done any business, I respect the hell out of what you do for saw dorks worldwide.

Nice! What's the bolt cutout on the clutch cover below the bar studs for?

I believe it's number 22 in the clutch cover page of the IPL, which is listed as a chain catcher. I believe it was part of the milling attachment Stihl had available.
