Save your money and your back. Get a 395 ported
2-3 weeks. If it doesn't get stuck in customs. That can add another few weeks. This could be my bad english comprehension, but how much time do you have to wait for an US saw? The last saw I bought from Tony (the 3120 seller) was there in a little week.

I've seen maybe one or two for sale that you'd want to own in the last few years. I'd buy one for home use, but for work there is too much nla.Max Flow for sure for Aussie dust. 3120 and 880 are cinder blocks with handles. 084 isn't much bigger feeling than a 395. They're probably few and far between in good shape uses over there.
395 is a beast of a saw, but if I had a bunch of Aussie hardwood stumps to flush with a 42" bar..... I'd step over a 395 any day to pick up 120 ccSave your money and your back. Get a 395 ported
He does, and he can tell you the production dates for when stihl oil changed packaging, certification, and formulation.Everything in above post makes complete sense. Awesome news you have one on its way, Ben pours Stihl oil on his weeties every morning.
He sounds like the right person to ask if stihl makes another "FD" rated oil besides HD Super. As far as I can tell all the rest are "FB" which is a lower grade. He does, and he can tell you the production dates for when stihl oil changed packaging, certification, and formulation.
He did explain that to me one day, but I don't use stihl mix oil and didn't care a lot. From memory the difference from fd - fb is a smoke rating and has no bearing on saw protection. He sounds like the right person to ask if stihl makes another "FD" rated oil besides HD Super. ...well according to those selling the product.no bearing on saw protection.
Two things, firstly - I qualified my statement by saying it was from the memory of someone who didn't care a lot. I probably shouldn't have spoken at all as it's just as likely I have added to the great pool of misinformation on the internets....well according to those selling the product.

Secondly - I wasn't meaning to imply that it was a stihl spiel, I meant it was about the actual standards. You are free to look up the standards yourself and check the difference between fb and fd. They are international standards, not oil manufacturer marketing.
