Since I posted video in wrong area. Big Dave Neiger woods ported 7901 7900. Pop up and finger ports. Ported when they first came out, so people in the know can make them run gooooood. This saws porting is copied today still in Ohio.

EHP Ed Heard also ported these when they came all. Good runners too.

I loved it. Strong and mine oiled 32" fine even stumping.

Chris just make sure if you choose to have one ported. Get someone that can really port them right.

Big Dave built a lot of good running saws. People would whine because his porting didn't look the cleanest, but his saws consistently ran good and had long service lives.

I rebuilt an 026 that Dave ported for a tree service out of Portland. It was impressive.
