Well, 20* is the lowest I saw until the light couldnt keep up.It did
25* btdc at idle
20* running
No typo. The saw is firing btdc. Advance is less degrees before reaching tdc.The other way around would make more sense to me unless I’m misunderstanding something. Typo?
Oh dammit maybe Im bakkerds?Advance, being relative to TDC is usually referred to the other way around isn’t it?
The further before TDC you fire the coil, the further advanced (timed) the coil is compared to TDC.
Or is my hat on bakkerds?
If your hash marks are 5° and its idling at 25, if it rolls to the next hash up when you rev it, that would be 30. Which is about stock. This is a screen shot of vid. I believe I am bakkerds. Muh head hurts.
Top dead center hash is the next one below the fin that is fuzzy in the vid. Its sitting at idle in pic which is 25*. When revved flywheel rolls to the next hash lower.

Retract, retract. *pretty boy.No typo. The saw is firing btdc. Advance is less degrees before reaching tdc.
I will be replacing this one with another. Joe was kind enough to let me borrow his setup from the 661 he deleted the mtron on.Wouldn't happen to have a different coil to try would you @Redfin ?
