No it runs good.

Running vp 93 efree but a lot of advance

Anyone ever put a timing light on the 661 and see if coil has variable advance from factory ?

I asked about the leaded fuel because it's supposed to prevent detonation that causes that kind of damage.

What was the squish? Any chance that it was too big and there was too much mix in the squish band (for that much advance)

Squish is pretty tight at 017 but that don't worry me and neither does a few black dots on the band.

how much advance? since you talk to mopar everyday he already knew where not to go. Thus you should have...I don't see how you used too much.

You test all kinds of stuff but you use the exact same saw,what works in one may not in another.

Wtf does Kevin have to do with this saw detonating?

I changed the muffler a little and the transfers and the exhaust,backed the timing off a little.
With the carb it sounds lean but I can't tune it out so I guess it just sounds that way. It picked up a little more.
Wood is rock hard white oak.

Definitely a different muffler sound than your normal. Sounds like a dirt bike a little. Lol
Looks like it runs well.

Had to work on the farm most of the day but I got a peice of wood just out the shop door,might try a couple different things right quick.

I don't think the carb is much of a gain in cut times,it sounds faster but it barely is.

Rpm isn't a problem with the carb though
