And Piss Revving is just Piss Revving!

I worry more about "in the cut", and in the cut the M-Tron likely gives you an advantage that the fixed tune is incapable of providing.

That is true in big stuff. In a 10x10 you're through it in under 2 seconds per cut normally so the extra 3k rpm it hits the wood is a huge advantage. For a work saw mtronic is great. I don't like a 661 any better over a 70cc saw for working so far. A 395 is still king of the milling saws.

I sold my 395 and kept the 661.
I've not got a ton of run time on mine yet. I'm going to use it some this summer. My grandpa said there's a huge tree down. Probably 084 territory but I'll use the 661 and a 34" or 50" on it to get more time with it.

I will disagree there. Sometimes getting a bit more rpm when the cut is nearing it's end is nice for big delimbing work ocean you dump a whole tree. The slash N dash, get the *f-word out the way

I've cut trees that were larger than my 36" light bar, but never felt like I wanted or needed a longer bar than that!

My 066 with the 36" light is my long bar saw. If I can't handle it with that, than I don't want to do it!

For those of you skilled enough to run longer bars, more power to ya!
