I bought a 1974 Mercury comet for 400.00$ 20 years ago, i drove that thing all over creation, straight 250 six ,four door , green with jaundice interior.
The only performance upgrade i did was a front disc brake conversion.
I had to keep a case of oil in the trunk to refil with every tank of fuel.
I bought a cheap 74 Power Wagon as my backup vehicle at the time. I drove it for a year and lost reverse, drove it for another year without backing up.

OP, did you get this awesome husky running yet, at east the case didn't crack like a stihl.
How many of you took driver's education at school and had a pickup with 3 on the tree? It was not a favorite. A few of us didn't mind it at all. Whoever purchased it from local dealer, should have demanded a new clutch.
Yeah, I'd buy it if I could get that deal lol.Maybe he should take it to a stihl dealer to have it fixed.
Ya know I got a heck of a deal on a stihl saw that was taken to a husky dealer for repairs.........

Hes right, dodge owners love a good meat post...I’d be careful dangling a carrot like that in front of this crowd…
Dunno I never had to drive that one. Got lucky and only had to run the reliant once. Rest of the time it was the loner dodges.@Woodpecker wasn't that AMC brown mfer at driver's training a three on the tree? Not the Reliant, the other brown one.
