Just thought there might be a difference between pushing the fuel with pressure, vs pulling the fuel with vacuum. Grasping at straws here. This has to be something simple. I doesn't really, but I hope it is. Good luck. Thanks for the tips.
Yes, I have checked the tank vent various ways with no change.
This saw has the transfers cast into the cylinder so leaking shouldn’t be an issue there.
No, I have not tested the line. I don’t have a vacuum tester I’m afraid. But you can move a lot of fuel with the purge bulb…
Really still sounds like a coil issue to me… unfortunatelyJust thought there might be a difference between pushing the fuel with pressure, vs pulling the fuel with vacuum. Grasping at straws here. This has to be something simple. I doesn't really, but I hope it is. Good luck.
And you are probably right. I would think the dealer could handle this.Really still sounds like a coil issue to me… unfortunately
I think @huskihl just went through this with a certain infamous 572 and the coil needed linked…Thanks for all the suggestions.
At this point I’m just waiting on the dealer to plug it in I guess.
Would a new coil be plug and play or would it need to be linked to the carb via computer?

I’ve heard it both ways. I’m not certainI think @huskihl just went through this with a certain infamous 572 and the coil needed linked…
I’ll slow pitch and you knock ‘em out of the park budLinked.
As in sausage links.
Glad it worked out for ya man! Thanks for the update too…Dealer replaced fuel filter.
Old filter appeared to be defective, only drawing fuel through one small area on the bottom.
Saw has been running well, so , no longer for sale!
