So I have not posted in awhile. But I’ve been playing with the 592. And that’s my initial outcome in the previous post. So then I decided !!!

to make the saw very unhappy. 550xp coil.

Higher limiter. For sure. If you try to run short bar as in a 24”. It likes to run on the limiter. You better keep the chain sharp and drags a little lower.

Self powered sounds awesome. But I’m old school. Lol. And I will tell you. Having the timing knob sure makes things easier when figuring out what you got and what you want.

The best timing light I've ever used is a Stealth II Eluminator Advance. They used to be sold by MSD, Mac and Snap-On. They've discontinued the dial back and gone to a digital. I prefer the dial back.
