Here For The Long Haul!

I looked on the Husqvarna website and I think it said the 372 is 13.5lbs dry and the 562 is 13.4lbs.A 372 fueled up is pushing 16.5 lbs best I remember.

I was wanting something light that would pull a 18" bar and be fun to run at the same time. I've been talking with Kevin and he's going to port a 2152/346 for me.

Original edition 372 that isKeep the 372s.
It’s about a half lb low unless you don’t run spikes and have a low top filter. With the HD filter and dual spikes you’re over 14 lbs. a 562 is 1 lb lighter and smaller feeling. Which may be fine with an 18” bar but my back hurts thinking about that short of a barI was talking about the OE model. This is from the OE 372 manual. 6.1kg =13.4lbs

You forgot about the 2260562, 3/2159, 357/2156, all hard to beat for a 20" bar saw after some modding. Mike built some strong ones for sure. Still haven't used a stock saw that gave me the holy *s-word's like 562 did.
361 is decent too. Great manners and a lot of power. Could change my mind in the class if I ever try a ported one.
I have to agree and well said! . Stock this saw really is a screamer with excellent throttle response coming from a stock muffler.562, 3/2159, 357/2156, all hard to beat for a 20" bar saw after some modding. I've tried to find some videos of ported 346's with 18" bars in hardwood but haven't found any, just softwood.
That's just what I need.Here is one.
