562xp carb kit on CS2253?

I'm just about to do a port work on my brand new CS2253, and I also want to swap out the carb to a 562xpcarb on it. I guess I need carb, intake, air filter elbow and air filter from a 562xp to get it complete. Is it something I must be aware of when doing this swap?

I’ve seen the 2253WH are on sale for a decent price in Norway now. Makes me want to get one to keep at the house there.

I already have one in my shopping cart. Comes with a 15" bar and chain.
The price is with shipping included domestically over there, to my address. Not sure how much shipping would be to get it over here, but I'm thinking around $100.
If you're really interested I could buy one for you, and send it this way the next time I'm there. Not sure when that would be, though, with all that's going on in the world at the moment.
The currency conversion puts it around the $660 mark, which is cheap over there.

5500 norwegian krone are 530€ which makes it really cheap.550xp mk ii in Greece is 700€.To pity that Norway is not a member of the European Union and i will have to pay customs.

I would look further into that. There may not be taxes. Norway follows more rules and legislation from the EU than the EU member countries do themselves. Norway is also part of the EC - European Community, formerly known as the EEC - European Economic Community.

Have now cleaned up casting marks and ported the jug. Added some JB weld to the intake cylinder flange to prepare for the 562xp intake. Hope it will seal up with some Locktite 8104 silicon grease..

You can fit a 555 air filter under the hood better. If you run the 562 air filter you will have to modify the top cover.
