562 air filter update.

Yes they will. But with 555's low top cover will also need to be changed because the new filter won't fit under the original. Same applies to the 560XP.

Hard to say. Every Monday I check the ship dates and see how depressed they are going to make me. This morning, the new 562's are supposed to ship on Oct 27. Doesn't really mean that much. Could be Nov, or they could show up early.

EDIT: Those 562 dates didn't change over the weekend. But the 550's, 390's and 395's all kicked out to mid Nov.

In this case there are none of the old models left to sell, from Husky. But dealer stock will still be out there in some stores. All new production going forward will have the updates.

@TreeLife I’m with you, i’m gonna pull the trigger on an updated 562 too. My local dealer has the 2019 non-updated model w/ 24” bar for $680, but I’ll wait for the new saw and pay full price for the improvements.

Only update is that the filter holder kits are "out for pick" this morning and I should see them on Friday. Saws are still out there somewhere. Same carb, and nothing I've heard about different AT stuff on the way.

But there is another carb IPL update that won't open............Have to wait and see on that.
