I've also got .030" filed off the flywheel key.
100/116/78 and it would 4 stroke to 16k easy.
The numbers I used in my current hybrid were recommended buy another builder.(102/118/78). My saw IMO works great. Has good speed, throttle response make decent torque to pull a 25" bar. I really like it. Great work saw. I like it a lot.
Now what I'm wondering is what would I expect to see using the numbers you mentioned? My next hybrid I'd like to see as more of a gtg saw. I'm planning on using it with an 18"-20" bar.
What's your thoughts?
This one did fine with a 25". For playing in 10x10 I might go 95-96 110 and 75 with epoxy. I run higher exhaust than a lot of guys. It's my preference and makes a little lower compression.
Do you have such a hybrid? Did you port it yourself? Any vids of it?
Thanks.

Have you tried a low intake on these? I generally don't run this low of intake but I like 100/116-117/82. Something about these saws seem to like a low intake. Guessing it's the small case capacity feeding the top end.I've set 460s at 97-98 and 114. They still pull a long bar just fine to me. Full comp on a 110dl bar is a load for a 76cc saw.
81 is as far as I went. You start loosing some push for the charge with less than 30° of case compression.Have you tried a low intake on these? Now I don't feel so bad. LolI've done that 3 or 4 times.
It's gotta be the JB. That chit is magical.Best running ones I've built did that. Not sure if the JB weld does it or the bigger intake opening. Boot covers most of it anyway.
