FOUND IT 394xp recoil housing decal UPDATE: Got my decals

I know, it's a superficial part but my OCD will just not be appeased unless I get a new badge for my 394..

Anybody have one they can part with?? I can't seem to find them anywhere, even on ebay!

That's like putting a Yamaha badge on a 250r! Ba ha ha!

I will update this thread as soon as I hear back from Joe. He requested I do a rubbing of the clutch cover where the "Husqvarna" badge is placed and mail it to him so he can get a solid reference for size and shape. (which I did early last week) It sounds like he is looking to put together a complete decal set. I will also let him know there are a few more people interested to keep an eye out for.

Side note: My 394 was made in 1993 and is an early model. He stated that there were different styles over the years. You may want to include the year your 394 was made when you inquire.

I exchanged a couple emails with Joe and he said he was working through all 3 versions of the 394 stickers. I told him i had a model from 96 and sent him a picture and he said that was all he needed. Once he got home he was going to try to get back to me again tonight. I'll keep ya posted on anything I hear too.

I'm thinking the way Joe is doing these, you would be well served to email him and let him know what you need. His email was given in post #2. I think he is taking orders individually as opposed to a group buy. He never said anything to me implying a minimum quantity. But I would certainly spread to word to any 394 owners who would like a set.

Update: Today I received my 394 decal set from Joe, complete with yellow "UL" and "Warning" decals. The quality is great and they seem to be a near perfect if not perfect match to OEM. I would highly recommend Mr. Salva to those of you looking for hard to find decal sets for your older saws.

It's going to be awhile yet before I dig into my 394 overhaul as I have another priority ahead of it for my extra side money, buying a NIB Winchester m94 Trapper that belonged to my uncle who passed away last summer. Once I get that paid for, I'll get going on my 394. Once it's done and the decals are on it, I will post a thread in the general saw forum.
