357 346 hybrid

I've been playing withe these two saws a lot lately and I'm very impressed how well they take to simple porting (base gasket delete and opening of lowers and exhaust and a muff mod) has a hybrid of the two ever been atempted, 357 top on a 346.

homelite410 did it on a husky 350 chassis ...it was a very extensive build

Dozer dan did one as well, but not much info on that 1, just that it was stolen.

Dan dozerdan had built a 357 top on the OE 346 before the 50cc NE saws came out. I may still have pics in a thread I think.

I got a 2149 case that's lookin pretty good all the sudden!

My two favorite saws!

They are fairly close in size, so I see no reason to put a 357 top end on a 346. It would be too much work, as you'd likely need to use a 357 crank, but I don't really know anything.
