I'm not a husky guy and I haven't played with very many. Im assuming the oem clutch cover is metal. @Adirondackstihl did you just strip the paint and then polish it?

I am building a couple old OE's, figured out I should use 199 on them with 357 filterholder &filter, but it was to tight.
Incase you go that route you have to cut a bit off the plastic carb floor, both sides off where the choke&stop button comes out.
