Never ordered from partstree but I will check it out. I've had parts on order from another place for two weeks and my patience is running thin.
I dont buy from them, I simply use the nice system they have hahaha.

Here is something you can try out....
Pick 254, 1994, then pick tank unit.
Tank complete have # 501761310, choose then more detail
You get up one list of different Huskies this tank fit ;)

Anyone have a spare clip they'd be willing to part with?
Preferably grey, but doesn't matter

Right. So some say case match for better flow. The banana vine says leave them for more case compression/ velocity.
Anyone know what makes a stronger 346?
Is one faster, and one torquier?

So what caused the melt down? The 353 that I'm working on has a plug under the clutch cover that was basically gone. It goes directly into the crankcase so I'm certain that's why it melted down. Just wondering what you found??

I have one topend that is untouched, for the same thoughts you are having. I have one that is matched to the base gasket. I did it because I've yet to see a 365 that did not gain from it, and thru extensive research over the Internet, It's been done for years.

If it were me and if it helps you make a decision, I would open up the rear some but not fully. That way you can have a mix of both, the saw should perform well.

No mistake to me. The mechanics of it makes sense to blend and match up. But they will run without the work. The end results is you want what is in the crankcase getting up top to make power.
