I have a new pair of Cannon 32" bars and a roll of CL chain for the build off saws We can still use those in 24" x 24", eh?

any idea if the 8x8s will be something soft and supple and luscious?

Steve has no poplar.......and has had no poplar. White pine is the best we are gonna be able to do. I know.........knots suck.

well i guess we can cut around the knots in the cant racing (if i cut out that's my excuse, I was cutting around a knot)

will 32" work for the build off?
I can get a pair of 28" Stihl bars if that would be better, just not enough time to get more Cannons

...a little WD40 sprayed on your bar will keep the pitch from building up and slowing you down.

The 32" will be fine. Ain't nothing set in stone yet. We might get four 14" squares even.
