this Saw wouldn't oil. It now does. Which way turns the flow up ? I tried googling this ahead of time but no dice. I think my oiler lines were plugged a shot of compressed air and now it pumps. So I believe this thing is ready to work. I have a bar that is likely too big for this Saw so I wanna try to turn my oil up Other than occasionally running the big bar it's mainly gonna use a 20 thanks

It turns indefinitely I believe. The oil pump is numbered 1-4. Point the notch at 4 for more oil

I cannot read anything on my oiler. No marks I'll have to pull the clutch anyhow to turn the screw I'll see if I can clean it up real good and see anything then.

Mine certainly has no pointer mark. I was in there the other day trying to get it to pump any oil. I didn't even know what the screw was for But yeah it's just a rusty ol screw on mine

The numbers are there, but you'll need to take a small wire brush to the pump body.

The adjuster screw is just a cam, so in the minimum position when you rotation the oil pump gear it will move back and forth in the pump body very little. In the max position you can rotate the gear and you will notice it is harder to rotate and also moves back and forth more.

Run it slow with the bar off. See which position puts out more oil. That's what I do when I can't tell. Sometimes it's almost impossible to figure out which way the screw is pointing

It may be fairly simple to pull the clutch and just turn the oiler and watch the stroke it makes turning by hand and adjust if there is any more adjustment in it. I know it is oiling now It wasn't at all when I got it home. I'm really just avoiding the *s-word outta taking the oil pump apart

Spin the pump gear with your finger and watch how far the gear moves left and right. Adjust 1 click and do it again. It'll be obvious
