Degree your cylinder.

A good 262 cylinder is one that cries for a popup piston.

You'll gain compression and intake. The only two things you need to turn a great saw into a greater saw.

You can adjust your no gasket squish easily that way as well.
Here's the numbers I got with gasket and meteor piston my degree wheel goes to 180. Exhaust-103
Transfer - 124
Intake - 73

I also have two base gaskets one is .020 and the other is .035 thick. Timed with the .035 thick gasket. Probably will use the .020 gasket

That's what I thought too but I checked it twice. I'll check it again tomorrow to make sure. Haven't checked squish yet

So I have read lots of different options on transfer height anywhere for 116- 126 is there a go to number or is that up for debate?

I had a few like that. Hence my popup statement for someone not adept at porting.

Sounds like 10 from the chamber and a 20 popup with the appropriate base cut would make that scream Mike.

I agree Al it would make a strong saw. As far as the uppers I left these at 117 swept them back towards the intake a little and that was all I did to the uppers.
