What I did not know about that saw was the fact it had rear bracket from the air box to the carb .Without it the carb could rattle around lossen the crab bolts then it would suck air .
Yeah, its crazy how that carb will just rattle around without the brace. Crazy simple fix! Luckily mine still had one attached, but I scoured the IPLs because I was still missing many pieces. I didn't realize that some of the pieces changed a little over the years and ended up getting some stuff that didn't fit and had to modify it.

I haven't a clue if I got all the necessary chingaderas between the clutch and oil pump or not.

I think #15 is the oil seal. My #9 ended up being in two pieces (nylon I think), but I used it anyways...lol
I believe there was one called a dust seal or something that I didn't have room for, another one in there that's pretty mangled.

Seems to work.

If you look back at the carb picture I sent in it shows the right angle adapter used with a vee stack. All that weight is on two rather long bolts which naturally would oscilate more without the brace bracket in place . All I know is that thing had sat on a barn floor on some island off the Washington coast for twenty years with a bad coil . I got it cheap from another forum .That thing in good tune will really scoot but if it's been modified I have no idea ,never looked to see .Even if I did my knowledge of Husqvarna porting is not real good .If it were Stihl or McCulloch that would be another story .
