That's good news to hear!

I ment to send you a text the other day on where he's working but it slipped my mind.

He's currently working down at Penn State main. They are redoing the whole weight room for the football players. I am not sure if the weight room is at Beaver stadium or if it's somewhere else on campus. It's supposed to be a 7 month job with overtime.

I am sure he'll have lots to tell you when he sees you!
That's great to hear. Glad to see they are keeping him busy.

How are the 572 xp once ported ? Out of the 2 saws ported which would you want in your collection?
Tough question, I guess. All depends on what a fella wants. I don’t believe there’s a 5 series saw that stands out more than another

Which saw 585 or 592 felt better after porting ? I prefer my 385 xp over a 390 . If i recall correctly the 385 topend was built better for porting .
How do the 5 series compare to there earlier 3 series saws?

592 is a bigger bore and runs a little bit better. It was about 20% faster than a 390 when they were both stock and about 10% faster than a 390 once they were both ported

Will there be any racing? I can't afford to play in the big saw classes but was wondering if anyone would be interested in a 40cc and down cheap saw class. 20220214_162542.jpgThis would be my entry. I'll send it home with the winner if theres enough interest.

Side note I've never modified a saw beyond MM and timing advance. So no matter what I do to this one someone is going home with a free saw :risas3:
