I’ll be there if my head don’t explode at work. I start vacation tomorrow, so things always ramp up when they know I’m leaving.

Will be good to see both new and old faces, especially since I was unable to attend last year's.

Will have both a Cross 660 and Asian 440 Big Bore (with new port work) that were not at NY. To reflect their Asian roots, the 660 will have a Flying Tiger plane and the BB will just have a Tiger face. My test wood here is limited, plus it just does not stop raining, so I'm hoping they both do well!

The big chunk of oak is a no-go. I made 2 cuts into it to square it up and wrecked a chain. It must have some sort of debris in it. Not going to chance it being more than 1 piece and wrecking someone else’s chains.

I have the big Ash in my BiL’s backyard that needs to come down, its 31” and pretty damned straight. Only problem is the tree is at the back of the property and the only way to access the wood is driving over the leech fields. That won’t work.

The oak piece is about 8’ long. I didn’t see any evidence of foreign objects from the outside and I don’t have a metal detector to go over the log with.
