@paragonbuilder I should be able to get my hands on a pretty big and clean piece of oak. There has been poop flinging betwixt participants about battling a 500i and ‘any other saw out there’..... or was it a 460 hybrid and any saw out there? So much schitt talking has my head reeling.

Anyways, If I can get this big piece of oak, do you have any way to make a large cant out of it? Up here I don’t have any of the necessary equipment to do so. I have a trailer to deliver it, but thats about it.

I’m looking forward to running the 572 again if you bring it. Impressive saw.

Mason @huskyboy had a nice 572 at the NY GTG. I'm guessing he'll still have it for Dan's.
@MustangMike had an MS462 with a muff mod that ran really nice too.
So will likely have both new competing saws from each brand available.

Maybe someone can bring an Alaska mill -- there was one there last year I think @Lightning Performance brought. We did a bunch of free-hand milling to make some of the cants too.

I believe it right 30” i am going the afternoon to measure it and take some pics. I’ll grab my brothers trailer, it will crush my trailer

Didn't want to speak for ya Mason -- hopefully you can hang on to it for another couple of weeks. I didn't realize how brand new it actually is -- pulled nice!
Looking forward to seeing the CT crew.

The saw was pretty low on gas when i ran it but it pulled quite well. I was happily surprised.

round square it doesn’t matter to me I prefer round with knots and crotches

NY looked like a fine venue this year, as usual!
Missed the Sunday evening saw haul to the basement. Enjoy that and the BS about "whats in stock" The place is crazy good

Not looking good for me to make CT big maybe. Missed NY :-(

Still waiting for the invite to come see Lee and drop off his Lancaster saw some day.

Finally found a nice 084 complete and running. Thing is, I'm not sure what to do with it yet.

Built one "ported lite" 046 last month for a friend to pull a 28" in stumps. Have a Dolkita 8500 I'm starting to mess with again. Not much going on but collecting wood for slabs and a timber frame. Had no jing this past year to build anything. Not building stuff is my new norm :-(
