None of my saws have pipes

None of my saws have race chain

None of my saws run on anything other than my normal mix

In short, what I bring to the GTG's is what I cut wood with. PERIOD!
im only bringing 3 faster chains rest are work chain so quit complaining why you have slow saws

What page is this from?:D

John....was that dolmar that was at the ct gtg last year yours? I think that was the fastest 50cc there but wasn't it having a carb issue? Did that ever get ironed out?

My saws don't get much use. I mainly use them to cut cants coming off the sawmill lol.

It's OK Dall, you haven't beaten my "slow" saws yet!!!

I got another one running today … feels pretty good to me … but I don't really have any good test wood here, so we will see!

(I will have a few all Asian competitors)

I'll bring my 7 pin for my 460 and see if I fare any better Mike. Lol

Good Idea! I even run 7s on the larger saws, mostly because I often mill with them. When I first built my Asian Flying Tiger (660) it pulled through Hickory a good deal faster than my 460 (an 8 pin on the 660 and a 7 pin on the 460).

Luckily, it never touched his hands! In fact, I may have re created it recently (with a little port work). The original was a out of the Box Cross P+C that ran pretty darn well, until the AM piston pin bearing started to go! Luckily I caught it early, and the P+C were saved.

You should put a ported OEM jug on your 660 and a jacked up muffler. Tune it to 14k and see if those foreign saw parts hold up to racing, I'm curious.

If not a used crank and jug sitting here are going in one this summer to try that out.

That was a 5105 that T4driller built. I dont recall what he ended up doing with the carb. I know it wouldnt fuel enough.

The one I built for Randys build off ended up in the hands of an Amish logger. I told the fella if there was ever a failure I wanted to know. Last I knew it was still cutting timber.

Ironically I have an 066 saw with a Cross P+C and an Asian saw with an 066 jug … both run well. I also have an unmolested 660 jug, but I want to practice my skills on the AM jugs before I molest it. That said, I think I'm getting close! I'm thinking of getting a Meteor piston and putting it on the 066.
