Hey Jeff @RI Chevy I found the extra metal intake boot clamp you can upgrade your 345 or whatever saw that is that has plastic clamp. I'll throw it in with my stuff. Started getting organized tonight.

Hey guys, I just remembered I have a husky.....that's broke.
(Please don't tell Jeff @RI Chevy )

well you can tell him that.

It's a 395xp that I THINK needs a coil. If anybody has a spare and can bring one I'd like to try it and see if it fires.
@Moparmyway ...

Thx.
I’ll dig around and see if I’ve got one, worse comes to worse, we can take one from another 395 and see if your issues go away

Thanks Kev.

I'd like to keep the husky maintenance dept union hours to a minimum. Dan gets mad when we spread out all the broked husky's all over his garage and leak bar oil all over cause them rascals like to leak while they await services.(run on sentences intentional)
This 395 is a pound rescue that nobody wanted so I took it in and gave it a home. It doesn't play nice with other saws and requires special attention...I have a few 066s to use when work really needs done. :)

I about pulled my hair out fixin a 394 coil issue few years ago. Saw started fine. Ran fine even...for the first half hour. Then it wouldn’t want to restart. Changed a bunch of things, until I finally got the bright idea to check for spark (no spark when hot). Fixed with used oem coil.

I gotta question for you husky fixers. I broke the chain tensioner bolt in my new-to-me 395 today. Anyone got a spare they'd part with? I was thinking it could get tossed in the box with that 262 that's coming my way after this GTG. I'd be happy to send some $ via PayPal.

HLS has them for like $5

And they’re just as good. I use them on my saws, and have no problem suggesting them for others saws either. The oem ones break just as easily as these do

Don’t really get leftovers for these, as they seem to be prone to break

I'm going to bring two rolls of paper towels, but if you guys need me to bring anything else like food or something let me know. I just don't want to show up empty-handed.
Better if you just bring a whole case of them. Two rolls will be used for nose blowing alone. It’s going to be cold, windy, and possibly snowing/raining

No problem, 6 rolls come in a package I think that's enough? You'll have to hold out though because I won't be there till at least 10:30 maybe 11 ish. Work issues!

If you need anything else I can stop and grab it on the way over.

I’ve got 4 kids, I guess I’m used to 24 rolls in a case

Maybe bring at least 12 rolls, 18 will be plenty ?
Probably have between 40-70 guys showing up

Doc is going to be cooking all day and it’ll be nice to keep a few by the benches so guys can wipe up their leakers. I’m sure Dan wouldn’t mind if we tried keeping his floor a bit cleaner this time

Thanks! I know there were aftermarket ones out there, I just figured they weren't as good. I appreciate the recommendation.

Should actually be 4 cube class. 3.1 to 4.0 is 4 cube. 3 cube is 2.1 to 3.0
Yeah it’s a little over the limit but I figured it’s fair since we’re running 346Ne’s which are over the limit. I think the 261 is over limit too.

Do the classes go by piston mm or engine cc?
