I'm pretty sure my vids aren't being binge watched...which is fine :) as long as they remain as a reference for years to come and help a few peoples out thats cool. I take pride in doing something that hasn't really been done before, chronicalling a bolt for bolt journey through a saw that I've never done before! ...and the struggle to get it running right. when people haven trouble, hopefully they can turn on the tube and get an answer ....though they may have to wade through a pile of me talking!

I can't watch videos but did you get your questions answered on the MS200T? I've never run one but I've disassembled a few of them to part them out. (still have some parts and pieces around).

ya, and basically I'm an idiot. the high and low screws are VERY touchy, and you have to start at 1 turn and 1 turn .... and FINE tune from there. the high screw does affect the idle... at least somewhat.

that and get rid of the limiter on the high screw

Don't give it up man. Keep it up. Google and these environmental panty twat won't ever give you full credit for what you're doin' because of the perceived trauma that will result from the outcome. If 1000 guys saw your vid, the host organization wouldn't give you credit because you're doing something manly and tough like your Stihls, shotguns blasting, firewood making or a KTM revving up.

Rebulding pro-grade stuff is actually the ultimate form of recycling. It perpetuates the usefulness of a necessary tool; just like junkyards. Some can't see through the hate into a logical path.

The dust will settle around here Mattyo. That's what I meant about the honeymoon comment above. Haha. We've been having so much fun it is crazy.

I don't want to use google ads for my vids ... they aren't relevant, but they are effective at making me a small return on my investment. HL Supply has a link for me that I have put in the description of the vids. as long as a few guys use it to order every month, I'll keep the google ads off the chainsaw stuff. if not, then i'll throw the google ads back up, simple as that. its an experiment.

next experiment is to build 4x husky 350's.... w/ different cylinders, and see if anyone can tell the difference at the next gtg :)

Matt,

You're weird for a dentist. Why would you ever like chainsaws?

Why would you ever build the most memorable 50cc saw Ive ever run?

Just bought a 346xp cylinder clone off the bay...cheap...and have a 346xp oem cylinder coming

Im not changing my existing stuff...just gonna build thesee other two for comparison sake. They will all wear the same bar and chain and be compared at the gtg...someone will have a memorable day :)

I don't watch long vids either .Now on that 200 there's only about two things that go wrong with them. The carb and the seals .More so the seals .
Problem is with the roller bearing mains they use a composite thrust plate internal to the bearing .Given enough usage they devellope side slop and rattle back and forth .As such because of that it heats up the seals and they leak .Once they cool down it runs fine--for a short while then it goes funky again .The only cure is new bearings and seals which are about 60 bucks OEM. About an hour job. Now see how simple that was .

Al,
Are you using the OEM tooling for that "hour" to split and re-bearing/seal the 200t.
Just curious. At $8 a set it don't take long to recoup the $30 in tools it takes to do the seal job( if it actually does do the job 'right')

I don't think Wolfie is not a left wing Liberal, He thinks as we do. But he likes the political forum and probably is not going to leave it. Him and a couple others give the Obamanites there a hard time. I tried to get them all to put the libs on ignore and let them argue with themselves. But I think they like the arguing too.lol Ok MM no more political talk from me. That and religion causes more fights and wars than anything.

I've thought about this all night and I did watch all your videos as they were published on YouTube. The only question I would have being I don't have a 200t would be this. Why did the oem seals not work? I have ran into this problem with oem seals on a ms290 and had to go aftermarket. There has to be a way to put them in and them not leak.

Ok, the oem seals do work. the other 2 saws I recently worked on have fine seals. BUT... that doesn't mean I like the design. The fact that its so likely to wreck them when installing them (short of having the factory tools) is silly.

Thanks for watching my vids, be sure to do it right before bed, you'll be out like a light for sure :)

Yeah, that's me. Internet but no video of any kind as our data is limited. No cable, no DSL, just cell phone based internet.
I live on a dirt road and if I was a mile either direction on it, high speed would be available.

We're in the boonies also. No cable, no wired high speed errornet. We pay $$$ for Verizon wireless broadband, and have to really WATCH the kids so they don't blow through our monthly data cap. No Netflix, no Hulu...
