Wolfe is real good with the 200s. Glad you got it worked out. I always rip the limiters off any saw I work on. Just don't see the good in them. Once you've been in a few 200s you get comfortable-er.

Do you have the seal installer tools from Stihl
1129 893 2400
1129 893 4600. ?
I'm told they help, I just ordered them and am going to see. Wolf and I are gonna try them out.
He hates the bakeLite seals too.

Matt Yo, you're a cool guy. I like your vids also. My uncle was a dentist form the beginning of Vietnam War until 2010. He made videos when he was in Germany with women but not with saws. He was hung like a giraffe and as bald as the day is long so the producers gave him a red wig. He taught me to port two-strokes on old Sachs-Dolmars and Poulans in 1981. Dentist is a damn good fit. So don't let the old brushape thing confound y'all. Keep it up. I look through the vid for the 200 bolt thing but might doze off now. Later.

BTW, Get Wolfie over here he's one of us! Anybody get KevininOhio?

in the defense of AS, I got 2 guys over there helping me w/ my 200t issues... nobody here seemed to notice.... though the threads bashing AS get lots of attention.

I'm switzerland....i'm neutral in this fight, but I do have real saw issues that don't seem to getting attention
I Thought I Was Involved In A 200t Issue On Other Site. Didn't se nothing here

BA, I think you told me to stay away from chainsaws a while back... maybe that wasn't really you... who knows

Probably was me dude. Sounds typical of my smartass stuff. But doesn't mean I was right. Don't stay away from chainsaws. Now if you are building them, don't forget to use them often, too. If I'm not mistaken, 60% of your state is forested!!. I'd be hard to find if someone was looking for me under a light bulb that hung over my bench. Know what I mean?

I have half an acre. And a sawmill ...and I work on chainsaws, and I'm a dentist. Its weird...i know.

I wish I cut more, but then again, glad I don't do too much cuttin. Fixn them is fine, when they behave like they should. I hate working on things and then second guessing myself when it ain't exactly right.

Dude, listen to Linus Torvalds talk about programming computers sometime. Machines are exactly the same way if you get good parts. On the contrary, compare it to your wife, children, co-workers or dog.....

My Dad taught me to build a house. I was amazed. He said it doesn't matter if you want to bake a cake or build a nuclear bomb. Get a book and read it. If you can get good instructions and good parts, you can do anything. However, the hardest thing in the world you can do is get good instructions.

Fixn them is fine, when they behave like they should.

Mat I've been watching your videos on YouTube. You have done a great job! I could not help you out because I've never been in one of those saws. I enjoyed them and I also learned a lot and now I know where to go when I get one to work on. By all means your videos and time is well appreciated! P.s it sounded at times that your kids were tearing down the house lol!!

I'm the same way,I don't watch many saw videos period much less one that's very long.

Some us live at the end of the (phone) line. No cable and videos burn wireless data .
Yeah, that's me. Internet but no video of any kind as our data is limited. No cable, no DSL, just cell phone based internet.
I live on a dirt road and if I was a mile either direction on it, high speed would be available.
