As in the pin hole hasn’t been machined either?extreme 3140, probably of interest to only a couple guys here anyway
Any threads on fitting a 272 piston?
Correct it uses a stock ms880 tapered pinAs in the pin hole hasn’t been machined either?
I'm pretty sure several members and builders here have used them Hopefully they will point us to the videos.
I think Kevin used one in this (Flat top).
.
Thanks guys! Spicy for sure.
Any specific gains to running this setup, sorry if it was mentioned earlier. Or more so Dave has one available from wiseco so fit it in a 046 reasons?I never did one. If I remember right I used the low compression gasket and a regular one stacked and that’s about all. Nothing crazy. Just machine you’re squish to gain compression and the base can be untouched.

What size bar and chain are you running mine poles a 32" very very well pretty much holds it's own side by side with a ms660.That’s true. I did use a 6” grinder as my secret weapon.

The 460.On which one? All I have left now is a 372 xpw jug with no machine work. I sold all the saws I ported myself.
That's buzzing right along.I run 28-34” on it all the time I used it. 20” for racing turned up to about 16k
Ehh, kinda more meant compression height is being left up to the owner. You know, cause some guys have machining skills and stuff.Correct it uses a stock ms880 tapered pin
I wanted the thin ring with less resistance and wider skirts. It got it close to a 372 in big wood and faster than all the other saws I had in cants. I got mine from Chris Cicora. I don’t know if he’s doing any now or not.
