Ok, I got these little placid clamps from Dave that look like they will work well for that.

Mike Ive found out balance can make 1 or so pounds null if its balanced perfectly with the right bar. Best balance for me so far is 440/460 with 28es light but for the power difference the 064/66 is a no brainer

I was never a fan of clam shells but @dall had a very impressive ms290 that would surprise most people, i still hate to work on them though.

Local in central MI. Bought from a residential tree guy. 2166 really close to new, he didn't like it. Can't blame him, tune was terrible so I decided to port it. You know, to fix the tune.

That would fix it lol I got a 2165 I'm about ready to reassemble and the one in the pic is a 2188. Must be a big dealer then.

No. I've given up on em. I "think" that the bridges "might" help a little with lifting the charge into the chamber.......but if there is any gain there is very minimum.

I don't believe splitting a port increases anything in a work saw. The gain in the quads is overall volume ttt. Duals need to be unchoked. Just my almost worthless 2ct.
