U must be young? Lol! When u gettin around my age it does start makin a difference. Id rather pick my 64/66 with 28es light up anyday over my 390 with Cannon 28" 404 bar!:D. But Ill pick my 346xp up anyday I can use it over either one of thoso
I'm just giving you a hard time lol I use to run a 28" on my 395 now it keeps a 36" on it. Anything smaller than that I'll use my 288 or hybrid now

But it balances better. I limbed and bucked on some oaks with mine now with 28-36" bars.

I do prefer a larger power head with the longer bars, but my MOFO 026 balances just fine with a 16", and if we have numerous 3" limbs to cut, I'll race you when you are using the 661, cause you just won't be able to get to them as fast.

I like to pick the right tool for the right job.

Too heavy
With a 28" bar on a 372 and 394 I can't really tell the difference. I can tell the difference in power :). I think the 394/395 just looks like a big heavy double decker orange brick and that throws people off but there actually not bad. Balances great with a lightweight 28" bar setup. Just imo.

I helped a buddy clean up some Bradford Pears that had split during an ice storm a few years back. I was using my 562 with a 20" and got tired of bending over so I switched to the 395 with a 36". I put more time on it that day then the 562

I don't have to move as much to get most. I tried using a 50cc and they always get put down for a bigger saw and a 28". A 661 is lighter than my dinner bucket most days:risas3:

I usually cut to length right off the fallen tree, so I like a light saw for doing that. I'll generally use 2 to 3 saws cutting up a tree, each one for their section.

I think that my Hybrid with a 28" light bar, and the 026 with the 16" would make a good pair that is hard to beat.

Very few trees would need more than that.

The 64/66 with a 28 es light is knipping on the heels of a 1128 hybrid in weight , so I see no need for a in between saw. In wood 16" and under the 346 is downright gnarly

It is close to a 460, not as close to a hybrid. There is about 3/4 of a pound difference between a 460 and a 440.

Mike Ive found out balance can make 1 or so pounds null if its balanced perfectly with the right bar. Best balance for me so far is 440/460 with 28es light but for the power difference the 064/66 is a no brainer

I went from a 90cc saw to 70cc saw to lighten the load on my back. I have an 021 if needed.
