The 661 is a VG/powerful saw, but the difference in powerhead weight is about 1.5 lbs, which is a noticeable difference. Depends on what you plan to do with them.

it's based off the 046 platform, so they kept it in the 1128 family/series...

Oh this guy will he is a big ass dealer in the area. I was there once and a guy walked out with a brandy new 661 24"&32" bar and 4 chains for $1200. I think its just the factory tag on the self

But it balances better. I limbed and bucked on some oaks with mine now with 28-36" bars.

U must be young? Lol! When u gettin around my age it does start makin a difference. Id rather pick my 64/66 with 28es light up anyday over my 390 with Cannon 28" 404 bar! . But Ill pick my 346xp up anyday I can use it over either one of thoso
