Long reach indicator to get right up by the squishy band. Then back and forth till there is no run out at the top, or the bottom.

Move the 4 jaw to get the top end right, then tweak the bolts to move the bottom. Then back to the top.....etc....etc....etc....

So a long reach indicator in the squishy band sounds like the reason I have kids

I'm gonna stop for tonight. Still gotta cut all these bases. I got the jugs fitted up to the hybrids, and got all the clearances checked to know how much is coming off the bases.

Just for chits and giggles I checked the same jugs on a 460, then on a 440. There is a .005" deck height difference.
