was coming back from a saw race this fall and was driving by camp grayling and saw 2 a-10s fly over. it occured to me that not many people in the world have warm snuggly feelings when one of those mfers flies over. i sure do tho

I’ve near the jet stream so lots of US airforce flys over my area before heading east, recently , I’m not sure why but a Lockheed C5 was flying pretty low, and what a howl that thing was making. Made me stop what I was doing and check the flight radar.

my familys place in the UP is near what used to be KI sawyer AFB. as a kid in late 80s early 90s i remember b52s taking off and flying over constantly. at one point it was one of the longest runways in the world

We see A-10s often. Have heard them rip off bursts several times. Helicopters are a daily occurrence during multi-nation exercises. Escorted off base once while jeeping, going to see little Iraq. Going down a trail and having a tank coming at you, makes you turn around quickly. People visiting hear thunder while it's clear blue skies, not thunder, artillery. At friends farm small arms fire is heard frequently automatic weapons. Low level flights over Higgins lake are not uncommon.
