I had a run of a MS880 on Monday and with its limited coil and EPA carb limited to 1/4 and 1/2 turn of fuel, it was unimpressive to say the least.
It didn't seem to want to tune past 11500 RPM.
My 064 goes harder

That's pretty well the limiter on them. That's why they're such dogs now. A coil swap to a 441 or 361 coil if I remember right fixes that. They should be limited at 13k and you wouldn't need to mess with them. Same with the 9.6k limited 3120s. They cut at the limiter the whole time.

Well I got a 088 flywheel (was for a friend) for under $30 as it is mussing a few fins but will get his saw running.
I have decided to fix up the 088 and sell it and will be keeping the 084 to fully rebuild it ans spice it up a bit.

And........ with the big HLS sale on now, the Cross performance 084 kits are down from $199 to $84.
I'm getting one to port and keep the OEM top end safe for now. For the price I cant not get one.
