Yes, this is a transition saw and it is legit. For a short time, there was a flat-top, small oil tank, poly-flywheel saw. It's a strange animal. I bought one
myself new for my logging business I had at the time.

Are there any numbers on the ignition?

I would definitely keep it it's just a touch lighter than the ms660 and that makes a difference if you're running it all day.

The first 066s had a led light fitted that came on at about 13500?rpm for tuning.
Will get a pic unless someone else comes up with one.

Also, just guessing the 066 phased out the 064??

Yes first 066 was just an 064 with 54mm top end.
Not sure on light removal @jacob j.

If your saw is running a coil with extra terminal it should have light.
But I think yours is the next gen.

End of 1994. (TI 51.1994)

The existing CDIC ignition module with speed limiter (1122 400 1307) used with the red LED was replaced by the EY-V ignition module without speed limiter (1122 400 1311).

View attachment 234788 View attachment 234789[/QUOT ok this is how you need to start make sure that the H side is out from bottom one full turn then rev saw if the light doesn't come on turn the H side in until it does then when the light comes on then you turn the H side out one 1/4 out that will put you in the safe zone my vary a little because of elivashun but still the same process.
